External Configuration – Global [Archives.xml]

To add an archive provider to eFORMz using the Archives.xml file, access the file in the Minisoft > eFORMz_6 folder.

From there, you will see the following archive configured:

<?xml version=“1.0”encoding=“UTF-8”?>
<Archives>
<Archive Name="Test Archive - External" Provider="File System">
    <Content Active="true" Expanded="true" Type="Constant" Format="Text" ID="BaseDirectory">
      <Operand Type="Constant" InputEnabled="false" Value="archive0" Encrypted="false" />
    </Content>
  </Archive>
</Archives>

The Name attribute of the Archive tag changes the name of the archive.

The Value attribute of the Operand tag names the content within the archive.

NOTE: Configuring the Local File System Archive in the Archives.xml file makes the specified archive global, that is, it will be usable by multiple projects.

eFORMz Composer – Local (one project only)

To configure an archive within the eFORMz Composer, navigate to the Archives tab of the Project Properties by right clicking the project and selecting Properties > Archives:

Archive1

From the Archives tab, select New:

Archive2
