When to Restart the Director
You can restart the eFORMz Director in coordination with your system-related tasks such as backups and updates. In most conditions, the Director can run continually without restarting. You can resolve certain issues by restarting the Director as described in Troubleshooting: The eFORMz Director Stopped Processing Data.
